--------------------------------

About timeshift feature Says you have got slow tor nodes at 7 o'clock evening. At 11 o'clock evening, you have fast nodes, fast enough to stream standard-definition videos. You may have missed the shows broadcast between 7-11 o'clock. Timshift feature resolves this issue by allowing you to seek (with sPlayer) or record (with ffmpeg) inside the 6-hour window, so you do not miss a programme.

Now supports IPTV Smarters Pro 5.0 app

make sure to point tor to privoxy, then set your privoxy local address as proxy in STB settings menu. (e.g. http://192.168.X.XX:8118)
This stream has been tested on serveral television sets and we found that our video stream is watchable on 2007 (or older) CRT TV sets over composite cables - while it looks a bit jagged, fuzzy on High-definition LCD sets over HDMI cables.

Why D2HW?

clarity first

We do not project any on-screen watermarks, scrolling texts or any kind of graphics during the programme (though our software is capable of), if there's any watermarks we would strip it to prevent burn-ins - making our channel more plasma-friendly

commercial-free

We do not put any commercials (only promos of upcoming programmes, Ident + announcer, and then the programme starts right away)

Television like it used to be

We use the old 60s - 80s BBC broadcast system which is aimed for uninterrupted viewing experience

D2HW is funded through donations via Monero so please do chip in to keep the station running

also made for people who are still frequent live tv but do not like the current broadcasting system (weather, newsflashes etc...)

Streaming service is also available 24/7 (javascript-free)

What will never implemented?

- High definition (as tor bandwidth is not capable of HD streaming). We'll stick to 576p 1600kbps VBR (Variable Bitrate) stream as it works best on nodes with an average speed of 150kbps. Lower resolutions are also available for low-bandwidh streaming

Like your public television, but no break-ins (unless there are severe technical faults), D2HW broadcasts a variety of quality programmes for all age groups with no commercials.
